Some key highlights for the 2024 benefit plan year (January 1 – December 31) are:

Health Plans:
    • No plan design changes for medical, dental and vision
    • New cost sharing schedule for medical and dental plans, vision plan cost sharing remains unchanged
    • MDLIVE – virtual visits with a doctor or therapist for non-emergency medical issues and behavioral health needs with both medical plans
    • HSA individual contribution limit has increased to $4,150 for individual coverage and $8,300 for Individual + 1 or Family coverage
    • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) contribution limit increase to $3,200 with up to $640 carry over
    • Continuation of the Wellness Program:
      • $50 when you have an Annual Preventive Exam with your Primary Care physician
      • Well OnTarget program available to everyone – even those not on covered under the firm medical plans
      • Member Rewards – a new cash back incentive program from BCBSIL for seeing lower-cost, quality providers – which helps you reduce costs and take more control of your health care financial decisions. For additional information, please click here.

Long Term Disability Plan:

      • Non-Partner Attorneys and Team Members have the option to pay taxes on the Firm-paid cost of your LTD premium on a per paycheck basis.  By choosing this option, should you become disabled and receive Long Term Disability, the benefit you receive would not be subject to taxes.  For additional information and sample scenarios, please click here.

Voluntary Life and Voluntary AD&D Insurance Plan:

      • An opportunity to increase current voluntary life benefit by $40,000, or spousal life benefit by $20,000, without evidence of insurability, up to the guaranteed issue amount.
      • An opportunity to add from $50,000 up to $500,000 in voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for you and your dependents, without any evidence of insurability.

Voluntary Supplemental Group Variable Universal Life Plan for Partners:

      • Purchase coverage amounts in $10,000 increments up to $2M
      • An opportunity to increase current supplemental life benefit by either one or two increments not to exceed the Guaranteed Issue amount $500,000.
      • Coverage is portable at the same rates as active enrollees.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan:

      • 2024 IRS limit on pre-tax elective deferrals – $23,000 or age 50 and over up to $30,500

Commuter Pre-Tax Benefit:

      • Increase in monthly pre-tax limit for parking and transit to $315

Additional Plans:
